Conclusion

Pro-social Content

“Real Emotions,” “Dime Mi Amor,” “Nobody Else” and “La Contestacion” pledge lifelong love and support for a special lady. A man’s attraction to his woman is deemed “More Than Love.” On the prayerful “Heaven,” a weary man asks God to rescue him from a prison of misery. He repents of the choices that landed him there and seeks divine guidance (“I know I need to change my ways of livin’ ... I just keep on prayin’, Lord”). Similarly, “Crazy Dream” tries to maintain hope and find the “way back home.” The singer offers solace to another, urging that person to leave pain behind and look up at the “Velvet Sky.”

Objectionable Content

“Señorita” finds a guy lusting over a woman’s “sexy legs and hair and nasty looking walk.”

Summary Advisory

Garza brothers Henry (guitar), Jojo (bass) and Ringo (drums) grew up in San Angelo, Texas, where they served as the backup band for their musical dad. Next came Los Lonely Boys. The guys’ hormones get the better of them on one track. Still, love, loyalty and faith are central to their debut, which ranges sonically from mild to spicy.
