"Hold On" tells the jilted not to give up hope. Tired of a roller-coaster dating relationship, the self-respecting singer announces, "I'm done with being up and down and pushed around" ("Goodnight and Goodbye"). The punk-infused "Inseparable" and the mellow ballad "Hello Beautiful" both declare love across the miles. Frustrated that he and the girl of his dreams are "Just Friends," a guy mentions long-term visions of wedding vows and a picket fence. "Kids of the Future" borrows the melody from Kim Wilde's 1981 hit "Kids in America" for a song about feeling at home with "a family that wants you." That track applauds adoption much like the film it appeared in, Walt Disney's Meet the Robinsons. A handful of songs, including "S.O.S.," pine over lost love, though breakups never spawn revenge fantasies. "When You Look Me in the Eyes" innocently tells a girl that meeting her gaze is like a glimpse of heaven.

Summary Advisory

Despite being in love with being in love, these three sibs from Jersey are as upbeat and trouble-free as it gets. Already heavily promoted on Disney Channel, they'll play spies in a 2008 series called J.O.N.A.S. Joe Jonas says, "We're aiming for people our age, but we also want to get kids younger than us." OK by us. Just keep it clean.
