This high fantasy adventure book is the third book in the “ Lord of the Rings” series by J.R.R. Tolkien and was first published by Allen & Unwin, a former British publishing house.

The Return of the King is often read by kids 12 and up. The age range reflects readability and not necessarily content appropriateness.
